São Lourenço do Barrocal - Monsaraz

São Lourenço do Barrocal is located in the foothills of the medieval village of Monsaraz and nearby the Alqueva lake. The pet-friendly property isin a 780-hectare estate, which comprises a restaurant, a bar lounge, a pool bar, a Spa with fitness centre, a winery and a store.

The hotel offers guest rooms and houses with countryside views. Every room is air-conditioned, has a TV with cable channels, a coffee machine and underfloor heating inbathrooms.

All houses feature a spacious seating area, a dining room and a fully-equipped kitchenguests are welcome to prepare their own meals. The on-site restaurant serves traditional Alentejo cuisine.

A seasonal outdoor pool and childrens playing facilities are also available. Bicycles can be hired free of charge and the staff is available to help guests with car hire. The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 12:00.

Twin or Double Room - Farm. These rooms have the entrance in the main street of the ‘monte’ (for the most part), marking the former homes of the farm workers and their families. Rooms offer access to a private terrace with outdoor furniture and pergola shading. ;
Suite. These suites offer privileged access to the surrounding landscape and a spectacular view towards Monsaraz castle. They also offer an outdoor terrace with view to a reflecting pool. ;
One-Bedroom House - Barn. This cottage has an outdoor terrace, offering views to the countryside, the old sheep pen and to the life unfolding in the ‘monte’. Its spacious bedroom contains a bathroom with shower cabin and freestanding bathtub. It comprises a living room and a fully equipped kitchen with Gaggenau and Smeg appliances. ;
Two-Bedroom House - Yard. Overlooking the gentle hill in the background of the rooftops or the other farm buildings, these cottages are privileged places for connecting with life in the ‘monte’. Each one has 2 bedrooms (each with a private bathroom), a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Some give access to an outdoor terrace. ;
Three-Bedroom House - Barn. Single or two-storey, these cottages have large areas and unique features for hosting families or groups of friends. They give access to an outdoor terrace, offering views to the countryside and to life unfolding in the monte. They comprise 3 bedrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. ;
Twin or Double Room - Winery. These rooms are located on the pathway to the winery, offering views of the grain silos and or the reflecting pool. Some of the rooms give access to an outdoor terrace with garden furniture and pergola shading. ;

Two-Bedroom House - Barn. These cottages offer ample spaces, filled with natural light, reflecting their former use as barns, stables or cowsheds. They have 2 bedrooms (each with a private bathroom), a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor terrace with garden furniture and pergola shading. ;
Two-Bedroom House - Meadow. These cottages have private outdoor terraces, offering unrestrained views to the ‘barrocais’ landscape and its wild meadows. Each one has a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms.
